چکیده
We introduce an analytical model for ideal organic laser diodes based on the argument that their intrinsic active layers necessitate operation in bipolar space charge-limited current regime. Expressions threshold and voltage agree well with drift-diffusion modeling of complete p-i-n devices bound is established presence annihilation excited-state absorption losses. These results establish a foundation development diode technology.

Space-charge-limited flows in the quantum regime
This paper reviews the recent developments of space-charge-limited SCL flow or Child-Langmuir CL law in the quantum regime. According to the classical CL law for planar diodes, the current density scales as 3 /2’s power of gap voltage and to the inverse squared power of gap spacing. When the electron de Broglie wavelength is comparable or larger than the gap spacing, the classical SCL current d...
متن کاملA Novel Method Describing the Space Charge Limited Region in a Planar Diode
A novel and rather simple method is presented to describe the physics of space-charge region in a planar diode. The method deals with the issue in the time domain and as a consequence transient time behavior can be achieved. Potential distributions and currents obtained using this technique, supposing zero initial velocity for electrons, reveal absolute agreement with Child's results. Moreover,...

Low-frequency current fluctuations are investigated over a bias range covering Ohmic, trap-filling, and space-charge-limited current regimes in polycrystalline polyacenes. The relative current noise power spectral density S(f) is constant in the Ohmic region, steeply increases at the trap-filling transition region, and decreases in the space-charge-limited-current region. The noise peak at the ...
